She is primarily interested in handcrafted filmmaking and exploring the ways in which experimental and handcrafted animations make labor visible, aesthetically gesturing towards the human relations of their production. She is invested in exploring the ways in which experimental and handcrafted animation forms and techniques can be utilized to address political inquiries and concerns, and stories of resistance.

As a local Atlanta animator/illustrator, Ed Dinzole has worked towards building a unique style while using animation and illustration to support the Atlanta stand up comedy community. As a stand up comedian himself, Ed is able to apply his admittedly depressing sense of humor to the process of animation to create entertaining nonsense on a daily basis. His work can be seen here, and he is always excited to work with anyone who has a fun idea and the attitude required to make it a reality.

Revoltoso

Revoltoso is a stop-motion short film that tells the story of a little one-eyed boar who lives in Don Gonzalo’s hacienda during the Mexican Revolution in 1913. Don Gonzalo, an avid follower of the recent exiled president, Porfirio Díaz, uses the strength of his wild boars to enforce his will. A photographer is hired to film and document his regime. The Revolutionary Army attacks the hacienda in order to reclaim the land to the workers. In the midst of this battle, the little boar is brought closer to the film camera and must decide what to do with it.
